DDR means Double Data Rate .SDRAM-- Synchronous Dynamic Random Access Memory.
DDR  is the latest version of (SDRAM)  & Single Data Rate (SDR) . The Frequency and Voltage of RAM depend on the  Data Rate & this  Updated versions  are -- DDR, DDR2, DDR3 .
For example:  The  Frequency of DDR/DDR1 RAM  is 100-400 MHz and Voltage : 2.5-2.6 ;
The Frequency of DDR2 RAM is 533-800 MHz & Voltage: 1.8;
The Frequency of DDR3 RAM is 1066-1333 or higher MHz & Voltage: 1.5;
